The Associate Pastor of Children & Youth (AP) helps Clearwater First Baptist Church (CFBC) carry out its mission by supporting parents in their God-given mission to disciple their children by providing resources, and spiritual, pastoral, and administrative leadership to all aspects of their child’s ministry focus (birth through grade 12). He serves as the chief communicator, biblical teacher, and leader of the Student Ministries, as well as shepherding carefully and prayerfully the children, teens, parents, and volunteers involved in all aspects of these ministries. The AP will serve as a member of the church council. The AP position is full-time consisting of approximately 40 hours per week. Lastly, the AP must be able to foster his own spiritual growth and be the spiritual leader of his family, in addition to his ministerial responsibilities.
