Calvary Baptist Church, a small church located in the heart of Forest Hill, La, is prayerfully seeking a Bi-Vocational Pastor. The Pastor shall be considered the Shepard and responsible for our overall welfare of the Church, who operates out of a deep sense of God's call. Someone who is passionate about doing God's work.
While we are a congregation of young adults up to senior adults, we are a small church with a small membership, however, we are a solid church made up of dedicated church members who desire to see a dedicated ministry continue in our area.
Currently, our services include:
Sunday School
Sunday Morning Worship Services
Sunday Night Bible Study
Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer Meeting
Primary Duties:
Must have a heart for the people and community.
Oversee worship services, Church Programs, weddings, funerals, etc. Also, do some Hospital and home visitations.
Administer the Holy ordinances of Baptism and Communion.
Demonstrate the abiltiy to work efficiently with members of all ages; male and female.
Be an efficient leader to help with the administration of the Church affairs (conduct Bible Study, Church Business Meetings, participate in Sunday School, etc.)
