Oak Grove Baptist Church, Winnsboro, LA, a member of the Southern Baptist Association, is seeking a bi-vocational pastor. We are a rural church with approximately 40 in Sunday School and 60 in church attendance. We hold 2 services on Sunday and bible study on Wednesday night. We are searching for someone who is interested in shepherding God's people with a firm foundation in God's Holy Word. We are looking for a compassionate man of God, who teaches and preaches the Bible and who possesses the spiritual qualities as outlined in Timothy 3: 1-7 and Titus 1: 5-9. He must be a born again baptized believer in Jesus Christ.
We are a mission-minded church and have a children's program on Wednesday nights. We believe we all have a part to play in spreading God's word and love to others. Our vision is to reach those in and around our community, who are not followers of Jesus Christ and to bring them to know the love of Jesus Christ, while simultaneously focusing on the growth and development of our Christian family at Oak Grove.
