Worship Leader-Connect Church

Connect Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to guide our congregation in worship through music and spiritual engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong musical background, excellent communication skills, and a heart for mentoring others in their faith journey. This role is crucial in creating an uplifting worship environment that fosters community and spiritual growth. This is a part time postion. 

Responsibilities

• Lead congregational worship services with enthusiasm and spiritual depth.
• Select appropriate music that aligns with the church's vision and message.
• Educate and mentor team members, fostering their musical talents and spiritual development.
• Collaborate with pastoral staff to plan worship services that enhance the overall church experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members, volunteers, and the congregation regarding worship plans and schedules.
• Organize rehearsals, ensuring all musicians are prepared and supported.
• Encourage participation from the congregation in worship through music and other creative expressions.
• Stay current with worship trends and incorporate new ideas to engage the community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading worship services, preferably in a church setting.
• Strong musical abilities (vocal and instrumental) with proficiency in various styles of worship music.
• Excellent leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
• A deep understanding of scripture and theology as it relates to worship practices.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the church community.
